Frequently asked
- How long does each candle burn?
- Roughly 25 hours for the 4oz, 50 for the 8oz and 75 for the 12oz. Exact burn time varies with draughts and how long you burn it each time.
- Why does my candle tunnel down the middle?
- Almost always the first burn. Wax has a memory: let it melt all the way to the edge of the jar the first time — usually two to three hours — and it will burn evenly for the rest of its life. Cut that first burn short and it will tunnel forever after.
- How should I trim the wick?
- To about 5mm before every burn, once the wax has set. An untrimmed wick mushrooms, smokes and leaves soot on the glass.
- Is coconut soy wax better than soy?
- For fragrance, yes. Coconut wax has a lower melt point, so it releases scent at a lower temperature and burns more slowly. We blend it with soy so the wax keeps its structure and the surface stays smooth.
- Are your candles vegan and cruelty-free?
- Yes. No beeswax, no animal products, and nothing tested on animals.
- Can I reuse the jar?
- Please do. Put the empty jar in the freezer for a few hours and the last of the wax lifts out in one piece. Wash it with warm soapy water and it makes a good tumbler or brush pot.
Shipping

Standard shipping is a flat $6.50, and free on orders over $75. Delivery usually takes 3–5 business days once shipped.
In hot months we may hold an order a day or two to avoid shipping over a weekend — wax softens in a hot delivery van.
Returns
PLACEHOLDER — confirm before launch. Unused candles can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. Send a note first and we'll sort it out.
If a candle arrives broken, send a photo and we'll replace it — no need to return anything.
